A Coming-Out Announcement

Hello my lovelies. I’ve missed you!

I have some exciting developments to share with you. I’ve been immersed in a course for creative entrepreneurs to help me learn how to find my village via my skincare products (and help my village find me).  I couldn’t have dreamed where it would lead me.

Since I started real. kind. in 2014, I’ve crafted all-natural skincare and bath & body products from scratch, using the most potent ingredients that nature provides. I named my products things like “Divine Serum” and “Goddess Scrub.” I chose packaging colors that appealed to the pagan in me. I based my business decisions on values like kindness, fairness, goodness, and authenticity – the basis of my religion.

I never used the word, but all along my business and my practices were based on pagan values. It’s who I am, and it’s what I’m about.

Through this professional exercise, I’ve decided to fully embrace it. It’s scary, it’s new, it’s super risky, and it feels so right.

As of this moment, real. kind. is now officially A Skin Care Company Based on Modern Pagan Sensibilities. (fainting a little over here).

My skincare products remain the same you’ve enjoyed all along– they’ve always been pagan at heart. Now I just get to admit it.

I thought I was hiding it so well ...

I thought I was hiding it so well ...

Over the course of the next few months, I’ll be getting a new logo, new labels, and maybe some new photos on my web site (I have to have my photo made, y’all). I get to incorporate my own social and political causes more fully into my business, and choose a philanthropic organization to work with (so many great options).  And I get to find my tribe – I’m so grateful that so many of you are already on board! I am almost literally vibrating with excitement.

We’re about to take a left turn, folks. I love each of you and I’d love for you to join me on our ride to Progressive-ville. We have much good to do in the world.

Tell your friends, and join me as I launch into the world of harm-free, goodness-based entrepreneurship.
